Board Member and 1st VP – Gary Kessler

Gary C. Kessler, Ph.D., CCE, CCFP, CISSP, is Professor of Homeland Security at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Daytona Beach, FL), where he specializes in cybersecurity and is the program chair of the M.S. in Cybersecurity Management & Policy. He is also the president of Gary Kessler Associates, a training and consulting company specializing in computer and network forensics and security. Gary is a member of the N. Florida Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, a member of the New England Electronic Crimes Task Force (ECTF), and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Edith Cowan University (Perth, Western Australia). He is the co-author of two professional texts and over 70 articles, a frequent speaker at regional, national, and international conferences, and past editor-in-chief of the Journal of Digital Forensics, Security and Law. Gary started the undergraduate and graduate digital forensics programs at Champlain College (Burlington, VT), is on the advisory board of several similar programs around the country, and was Associate Professor and Program Director for the M.S. in Information Assurance program at Norwich University. He is a member of the HTCC, IEEE, and ISFCE. He is also a director of the Association for Digital Forensics, Security and Law (ADFSL), and an Associate Member of the Digital and Multimedia Sciences section of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS).
